Iconic Gems: The World’s Famous Sapphires
For centuries, sapphires have been coveted by gemologists, royalty, and collectors alike. We will delve into the fascinating stories behind some of the world’s most famous sapphires.
Presented by: Rachel Enright, ISA CAPP
Rachel is a GIA Graduate Gemologist with expertise in and a passion for fine gems and jewelry and Native American and Western art. She is well-versed in art and jewelry market trends and estate and insurance appraisal practices. Her background includes serving as a specialist and consignment manager of Native American and Western Art for a national auction house and business development for a fine art gallery focusing on contemporary and antique fine art. Most recently she has served as a gemologist and appraiser for several retail fine jewelry stores. She has earned Masters in Fine and Decorative Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and most recently the Graduate Gemologist diploma through GIA.
