There are currently 367 FAQs in the 2020-2021 version of USPAP which has been extended through December 31, 2023. As an instructor, I often get questions about who can and should be listed as an “intended user” under the Uniform Standards for Appraisal Practice (USPAP). And, I am also often asked what “rights” intended users have under USPAP.

The short answer: Generally, you want to list as few intended users as necessary to meet the client’s needs. And, intended users do not have a right to obtain a copy of the report without client consent.
