About
Daniel Fulco, PhD, ISA, is Principal Adviser & Appraiser at Art ADAPTS, LLC. His company performs a wide range of services in fine art advising, appraisals, and fully curated traveling exhibitions that adapt to today’s changing circumstances in the field. Dr. Fulco has over 10 years of museum experience in fine art across many different cultures and periods, with specific expertise in American and European art. He served as the inaugural Agnita M. Stine Schreiber Curator at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts (Hagerstown, MD, 2017–24) and Assistant Curator at the New Britain Museum of American Art (New Britain, CT, 2004–07).
Dr. Fulco received his BA in Art History from Connecticut College (New London, CT) and PhD and MA degrees in Art History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was a Distinguished Fellow (2007–10), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Fellow (2011–12), and Walter Read Hovey Memorial Fund Scholar (2012–13). He published a book on European Baroque art as well as book chapters and articles on various art historical topics.
