About

Fr Jason is a native of Shreveport, LA. He has been married to his wife, Ashley, for 28 years. Together they have six daughters. His undergraduate degrees are in Accounting and Finance. He also holds a MA in Biblical Studies, MDIV, MTh (Oxford University), and a PhD (Durham University). His advanced studies in theology, liturgics, and Church history, along with serving as an archpriest in the Orthodox Church, have afforded him the opportunity to study Christian religious art, antiquities, iconography, and manuscripts in England, Greece, Italy and the United States. Fr Jason also has extensive work experience in the financial services industry including employment at Ernst & Young, LLP, New York Life, and FDL Investors. This diversity of knowledge enables him to approach the appraisal process with the competency to appraise art and to understand the various estate, insurance, and or tax implications resulting from his work. 

Being a native of Louisiana, Fr Jason has a particular interest in artists from the Bayou and the Deep South. He has established relationships with other professionals in the art industry who have expertise in specific areas. His knowledge and network help to ensure his clients needs are met with expertise, confidentiality, and trust.
