A certified member with International Society of Appraisers, Ms. Guernsey studied American art history and American historical museum studies at Ohio University and Ohio State. She appraises all areas of American paintings, works on paper, sculpture, and outdoor sculpture specializing in 19th and 20th centuries.

Christine was President of ISA 2015 -2017 and was on the Executive Board of Directors 2011- 2017. She was also a recent past national Chairperson for the International Society of Appraisers Fine Arts Committee, where she co-edited ISA's manual for Appraising Fine Art.  Ms Guernsey was a past Board Member of the North Texas Chapter of ISA, 2009 -2011.

Ms. Guernsey has over 20 years experience in marketing and the promoting of fine art. Christine collaborated with some of the top museums in the country, promoting and creating products for blockbuster exhibitions while working for the Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo, Ohio. After moving to Texas, she worked at the Amon Carter Museum, Fort Worth, Texas, which is one of the top American art museums in the country. Ms. Guernsey is currently a docent and Benefactor member of the Amon Carter Museum. She is also a member of CASETA (Center for the Advancement of Early Texas Art) and TACO ( Texas Art Collectors Organization).

A fiber artist herself, Ms. Guernsey created and executed two national Fiber Art exhibitions, Interweave 78 and 79, winning several awards from the art community. She is currently a member of the Fort Worth Weavers Guild.
