Dana Summitt, ISA AM, founder of Look Appraisal LLC, is a Raleigh, NC based appraiser with a specialty designation in fine art. Beyond appraising, her expertise extends to consulting, guest lectures, and art brokerage. Dana is an accredited member (ISA AM) of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), the leading professional organization for personal property appraisers in North America. The ISA AM designation signifies she has completed rigorous training, including the ISA Core Course and the Fine Arts specialty course. She possesses well over 700 hours of documented experience in the appraisal field and adheres to the industry's gold standard, the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Her commitment extends beyond qualifications, as a member of the ISA Fine Art Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.

How We Work: We keep things down-to-earth and approachable, so you feel comfortable throughout the valuation process. We understand busy schedules come in all forms. That's why we offer in-person and virtual consultations via Zoom or phone before the appraisal begins. To ensure your preferred appointment, schedule your consultation or service online up to 60 days in advance. Our busy schedule often involves lengthy projects, planning ahead is key!

Located in Northwest Raleigh, near the heart of the RTP tech hub, Look Appraisal embraces a tech-savvy approach. We understand the importance of convenience, offering easy appointment scheduling, consultations by phone and Zoom, online delivery of valuation reports, plus simple digital invoicing. An Indiana native, Ms. Summitt is a proud graduate of Ball State University. She resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with her family, surrounded by the tall whispering pine trees for which the beautiful Carolinas are known.
