Susan Sturdivant, PhD., is a Certified Appraiser of Personal Property, Accredited in both Fine Art and Antiques, Furnishings & Decorative Art, and is part of the Private Client Services group. 

She appraises all types of art, antiques and collectibles including paintings, prints, silver, glass, porcelain, furniture, apparel and accessories, needlework, textiles, samplers and luxury goods (Hermes handbags) for insurance coverage; loss/damage claims; charitable donation; estate division or liquidation; equitable distribution; estate planning; divorce; and prospective purchase or sale.  She has served three terms as President of the North Texas chapter of ISA, has been on the Board of the Foundation for Appraisal Education and continues to serve on the Advisory Council of the Dallas Foundation.  She will serve as Vice-President of the Dallas chapter of ISA for 2022.

Dr., Sturdivant is also experienced in media consultation, having acted as consultant for the Buried Treasure TV series, starring Leigh & Leslie Keno and has served as an expert witness in litigation cases including Walker v. the Neiman Marcus Group.  She contributed two articles to Accent by Chubb, the online magazine for Collectors.
