About
Shannon is an Associate Appraiser at John Moran Auctioneers & Appraisers in Los Angeles, CA. She formerly was Moran's Senior Furniture & Decorative Arts Cataloguer where she cultivated a diverse, first-hand knowledge of a wide range of personal property.
She holds a master's degree in Art History from the University of California, Riverside specializing in British art and design, and a bachelor's degree in Art History from Arizona State University. Shannon has also lived and worked in the United Kingdom, during which she completed a research program at the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at Keble College, University of Oxford. As an appraiser, Shannon specializes in nineteenth and early twentieth-century art and design, with an emphasis on European and American ceramics, glass, silver/metalworking, and furniture.
Shannon has worked in post-secondary education, museum education, and museum collections.
