About

Emily has a diverse background working with Fine and Decorative Art objects. She graduated cume laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Art History from George Mason University and earned a Master of Arts in History of Decorative Arts from George Mason University and Smithsonian with proficiency in 19th/20th century American fashion and textiles.

Emily has worked for a variety of distinguished institutes in the Washington D.C. area including George Washington's Mount Vernon, Smithsonian Libraries, The Textile Museum, U.S. Department of State, and Quinn's Auction Galleries. In positions ranging from curatorial assistant, collections management assistant, and cataloger, Emily has extensive experience and handling capabilities with American and European paintings, sculpture, silver, glass, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, and furniture.

In her free time, Emily enjoys expanding her knowledge through continuing education and enthusiastically exploring the DMV area.
