We now welcome our second location in Rancho Mirage and are honored to assist you in your needs in the Coachella Valley and beyond! As a certified personal property appraiser, Tom Helms has a background of working for over thirty years with estates and personal property.  Working as an auction consultant, handling estate liquidations and valuations, working with antiques and collectibles, analyzing appraisal reports for both the courts and insurance companies, and serving on the board of directors for the Rosson House has helped establish him as a knowledgeable and credible source of information.  He is a certified member of the International Society of Appraisers

He has worked with high end and every-day estates with the common trappings of collections, furnishings, bric-a-brac, and vintage and antique items that are so prevalent in the average household. Some of his upper level clients were a cable network founder, a national beer magnate’s summer home, one of President Nixon’s presidential advisors, a charitable donation of a painting valued at $500,000 to the Phoenix Art Museum, professional sports icons, and clients in the top 50 of the "Fortune 500" listing. 

Previously, He also wrote a monthly column, “Ask the Appraiser” for Sun Life, a magazine for retirees in the greater Sun City area. The magazine had a 75,000 monthly run with his easy to read and informative column.  He has been a guest appraiser for reality TV on “The Auctioneers”, "Baggage Battles", and the local Arizona series "EVB" (East Van Buren).  Tom has also conducted appraisal fairs for charities.  Tom is the "go-to" guy for educational presentations for law firms, fiduciaries, accountants, and estate planners.  His team of experts also not only works in Arizona, but just like the title says, "International".  If you have any questions or would like to know more, feel free to contact Tom via email or by phone.
