About

Alison Grotz is the founder of EquiAppraisal LLC, a leading company of equine appraisals. She has international experience in the horse industry and a Bachelor of Science degree in Equestrian Science, with a minor in Business Administration.

She certified through the International Society of Appraisers (CAPP ISA), as well as a Senior certified member of the American Society of Equine Appraisers (ASEA). She has been an adjunct professor teaching the foundational Equine Science I & II classes of the Isothermal Community College Equine Studies curriculum. Along with her professional designations, she also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the North Carolina Horse Council. 

Alison has professional appraisal experience valuing hundreds of horses, of various breeds and disciplines. She has been established as an expert, providing testimony in both state and federal court. EquiAppraisal services are offered for:
