Karen Rogers, personal property appraiser in Santa Fe, New Mexico, contributes over thirty years of experience in the field of fine art to the appraisal profession. She is a qualified member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), a group of independent professional appraisers dedicated to advancing ethics and knowledge in the field of personal property appraisals.

A career in the business of art since 1988, Karen co-owned a gallery representing the Wyeth and Hurd family of artists for fifteen years. She has held positions in prestigious art galleries and auction houses of national reputation. In 2010 she founded Karen Rogers Visual Artist Advisory offering career development services and administrative support for artists.

She completed the professional program for Appraisal Studies through the International Society of Appraisers and is currently an ISA Member. She maintains the Uniform Standard of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP), as well as the ethical standards of the profession. She is a Qualified Appraiser as mandated by the IRS, for taxation, estates, and charitable contributions. She prepares appraisal reports for insurance coverage and claims, re-sale/selling, estate planning and distribution, donation, divorce and personal planning.

Karen has been involved in evaluating fine art, including paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints and photographs for charitable donation to institutions, insurance coverage, estate settlement, damage and loss claims, and current market values for sales consideration.

She provides expertise, contacts and excellence she has gained as a professional in the fine art market.
