ISA 2024 Awards Season is here!

Each year, ISA members select the best of the best from the membership to bestow its Annual Awards. This year, the Awards will be announced virtually during our Annual Business Meeting, which will be held on Thursday, May 30th via ZOOM from Noon – 1pm CT. Members are recognized for their accomplishments in service to ISA and the personal property appraising profession. Think about who you would nominate, and why. This year, the categories and the criteria are:

ISA Leadership Achievement Award - Advancing ISA

Advancing the Progress of the ISA Organization: Honoring an individual under whose inspired leadership has made a significant positive impact on our organization by advancing it through programming, membership, increasing our stature in the industry or by forging new external alliances that have had a measurable and positive impact on our organization.

Criteria: must be an ISA member in good standing, has initiated this contribution during 2023 and has demonstrated the work ethic, courage, and leadership necessary to achieve the goal. 

The Industry Beacon Award - Thought Leadership that Advances the Industry

Advancing the Profession of Personal Property Appraising: Honoring an individual who has advanced the profession of personal property appraising by elevating the profession through scholarship, groundbreaking research, publishing, through appraisal industry boards, or through industry initiatives that have had a measurable positive impact on the appraisal profession itself.

Criteria: must be an ISA member in good standing, has initiated this contribution during 2023 and has demonstrated the work ethic, courage, and leadership necessary to achieve the goal. 

Rising Leader Award

Honoring a never before recognized member who has worked vigorously to improve the organization and ignite change or growth through participation as a board member or board liaison, a committee member, committee chair or volunteer to launch, enhance or strengthen the organization’s programming, membership and / or profile in the industry.

Criteria: must be an ISA member in good standing, has initiated this contribution during 2023 and has stepped up in the organization to take on committee work and/or initiate advancement of new or current initiatives. 

Outstanding New Member

Honoring a hardworking new member who has entered the organization with the courage and work ethic necessary to become a vital member of our society and asset to our profession. This can be an intern, a research assistant, or a new volunteer who has had the fortitude to step up and build new ISA relationships.

Criteria: must be a member in good standing for the last 18 months and nominated by an ISA member in good standing.

Outstanding Colleague (2)

Recognizing peer-to-peer service, this award honors two outstanding ISA members who have devoted their precious time and talents toward lifting their fellow members through any of the following: service on the forum, mentoring, publishing or raising our social media presence, setting an example of excellence, or simply by outstanding acts of camaraderie to help other appraisers in times of need or toward their advancement.

Criteria: must be an ISA member in good standing, has initiated this contribution during 2023 and has demonstrated a devotion to our community by acts of professional generosity, personal stewardship, or individual engagement. 

Lifetime Achievement Award

Honoring the work of a long and illustrious career.
