We are accepting applications from members wishing to be considered for the two vacancies on the 2023 ISA Board of Directors.
The Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice (USPAP) materials include a lot of Frequently Asked Questions! There are currently 367 FAQs in the 2020-2021 version of USPAP which has been extended through December 31, 2023. These are included as guidance from The Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) of The Appraisal Foundation to respond to questions to illustrate the applicability of USPAP in specific situations.
As an instructor, I often get questions about who can and should be listed as an “intended user” under the Uniform Standards for Appraisal Practice (USPAP). And, I am also often asked what “rights” intended users have under USPAP.
The short answer: Generally, you want to list as few intended users as necessary to meet the client’s needs. And, intended users do not have a right to obtain a copy of the report without client consent.
