Most of Mr. Cotter’s professional career has been spent in the antiquarian book business.  He has either worked for and/or owned a rare bookselling operation since 2002.  His duties have varied and have included everything from cataloging to sales.  He has personally exhibited at antiquarian book fairs in Nashville, Atlanta, Washington, Boston, Baltimore, St. Petersburg and Seattle on numerous occasions.  Mr. Cotter is a member in good standing of the FABA (Florida Antiquarian Booksellers Association) and a charter member of TENNABA (Tennessee Antiquarian Booksellers Association).  In addition, Mr. Cotter is a current member of The Ephemera Society and is the author of “The Transforming World of Collectible” ongoing blog series.
