About
As a child, Laurent Gache grew up in a castle in the south of France.
From an early age, Laurent was surrounded by fine art and antiques.
This gave him a love for beautiful things and helped to develop his artistic sensibility.
Later, he went to Paris, France, to live his passion for painting.
He worked in a private artist atelier in Montmartre for several years (oil painting and drawing workshop).
Laurent studied in the top French schools of art: l’Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts, and Compagnons du Tour de France.
Art history, Art Critique, Anatomy, Fresco, Mosaic and Sculpting had no secrets anymore for him.
His career in Art so began, and Laurent worked with masters from France and Italy, in furniture restoration.
In the eighties, Laurent decided to practice his art in USA.
He first lived in New York, working in restoration of fine antique furniture.
After, he went to San Francisco followed by Los Angeles where he established himself as LG Antique Restoration and Appraisal.
