Cris Drugan, ISA-AM, MIPAV-OS is the Principal of Emerald Art Services, LLC and has been an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers since 1999.  In addition, in 2013, Cris was accepted as an Overseas Member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers in Ireland. Cris has been a General Manager, Art Restoration Consultant and Technical Director for a national art restoration company as well as a property and fine art claims adjuster for over 19 years.  Cris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Kent State University and is currently pursuing his Masters of Art, in Art History.  

Cris is current on USPAP and has attended numerous onsite & online disaster recovery, restoration, fine art and wine workshops, classes, webinars, forums and symposiums through the International Society of Appraisers, American Society of Appraisers, Foundation for Appraisal Education, National Appraisal Consultants, Appraisal Course Associates, The University of Glasgow, FEMA, the Society of Wine Educators and the Eastman Kodak House Museum.

Cris is currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center  and is on the Executive Board of the Akron Claims Association. Cris was formerly the VP of the Cleveland Claims Association, VP of the Board of the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve, and President of the American Wine Society Tri-County Chapter. Cris is a member of the Ohio Preservation Council, the American Historical Print Collectors Society, the International Mezzotint Society, the Int'l Assoc. of Silver Art Collectors and The Elongated Collectors. 

Cris has been published in the Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies, published by the Foundation for Appraisal Education, The Journal of Art Crime, published by the Association for Research Into Crimes Against Art (ARCA) and The Property Professional published by the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) in Ireland.

Professional designations include International Society of Appraisers, accredited (ISA-AM) and Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (MIPAV-OS). -
