About

Salter is an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers, and a member of the Canadian Chapter of the ISA. She holds an MFA from the University of Miami and a BFA from the University of Windsor.  Salter regularly provides both public and private clients with collection management services that support individual artworks, institutional art collections and or municipal public art collections. She provides appraisals for the purpose of CCPREB, (Canadian Cultural Property Review and Export Board),  insurance, probate and divorce. Salter also advises clients regarding restoration projects, for public artworks and long term maintenance strategies, acquisitions and deaccessioning supports.

Mandy has held senior Director/Curatorial positions at the Art Gallery of Mississauga (2014-2019) and the Art Gallery of Windsor (2009 - 2012) curatorial positions with the Ydessa Hendeles Foundation and George Adams Gallery, NYC; collection management positions with Auctionata, the City of Windsor and teaching positions within the Art History Departments at the University of Miami, The University of the West Indies and Nova Southeastern University, Jamaica and Bahamas. She holds a BFA in Art and Art History and an MFA in Art and Art History from the University of Miami.  Her past curatorial research has explored ideas concerning visual art, cultural history and community accessibility.
