About

Located in Seattle, Washington, Kathryn Coldiron specializes in the appraisal of archives, rare books, manuscripts, cartography, and historical and natural history prints.

Kathryn’s areas of expertise include early printed works to modern first editions, printed and manuscript documents and autographs, historical prints, and natural history prints including the work of John James Audubon.

Kathryn has nearly a decade of experience, having served as the Director of the Rare Books and Manuscripts Department at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago, Illinois, and as the senior specialist and head of sale of the Rare Books and Manuscripts Department in its inaugural year at The Potomack Company in Alexandria, Virginia. Kathryn has a Master’s degree in Medieval History from Loyola University, Chicago, and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University, Chicago.

Kathryn is a member of the Caxton Club and the Book Club of Washington.
