How do I register for an upcoming webinar?

Visit www.isa-appraisers.org and find the link to our current webinar offering on the home screen. Alternatively, click “ISA Education” from the home screen. From there you will find a link to all of our webinar sessions. You will also be able to purchase past webinar sessions you may have missed here. The direct link to register for a webinar is https://isa-appraiserstraining.webex.com. You may also call ISA Headquarters at (312) 981-6778 with any questions regarding registration.

Do I need special software to take part in a webinar?

No. ISA’s webinar software (WebEx) allows virtually any user, from anywhere in the world to take part in the ISA webinar programs. In order to be able to hear the presenter, your computer will need to be able to play sound. If you are having trouble, WebEx offers free technical support to those taking our courses. They can be contacted by calling (866) 229-3239.

What equipment will I need to take part in a webinar?

You will only need access to a computer that is connected to the Internet that is able to play sound. (Please note this is a change from past ISA webinars, in which participants could call in to the audio using a phone. The only way to hear the audio for this and all future webinars will be through your computer’s sound system.) The webinar is compatible with both PC and Mac Operating Systems. During your session, the webinar "online classroom" includes a chat feature for you to type questions you may have. The host of the session will be able to see your questions and respond. You will not be able to verbally ask questions.

How will I remember what date my webinar is going to be?

The ISA’s webinar system automatically e-mails attendees 24 hours before the webinar begins to remind them to join their session. You will be given a link and password to access the webinar.

Can I earn PDCs (Professional Development Credits) from a webinar?

Yes. One hour of online learning through a webinar session is the equivalent to one PDC for the International Society of Appraisers. Please save your confirmation email as proof of your attendance of the webinar to submit with your requalification materials at the appropriate time.

I missed a webinar I wanted to take/ the session filled up and I was not able to register. Is there another opportunity?

Yes. All past webinars are recorded and made available for others watch. Past sessions may be purchased through the webinar registration page.

Why should I register early for a webinar?

Early registration is highly recommended because each live webinar offered by the ISA is limited to 50 participants.

How much do webinars cost?

Live sessions are $40. Recorded ones are $37.50–$40. Some are FREE.

Can I cancel my registration?

Refunds will be issued for written cancellations received at least 24 hours prior to the start of the webinar. Phone cancellations will NOT be accepted. Please forward cancellation requests to isa@isa-appraisers.org. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued for technical difficulties on the part of the participant on the day of the webinar.
