Description

This lively presentation will present specific examples of European and American works of art that have sold at auction over the past several years as case studies to help participants understand factors to consider when selecting comparables for works valued at $5,000 to $150,000. We'll explore how a work's condition, quality, subject matter and overall desirability can be viewed through the lens of the art market to help you support a value conclusion. We'll also consider how to present this analysis in plain language so that an intended user can understand your reasoning and hopefully, call you again to help with the "nice painting over the fireplace."

*This webinar will take place from 2:00-3:00pm CST.
