Dear ISA members and Assets attendees,

After spending the past few weeks monitoring the situation with COVID-19, the ISA board, Conference Committee, and I have made the difficult decision to cancel Assets 2020, which was scheduled to take place next month in Denver, Colorado. I appreciate your patience as we take the necessary steps as an organization to work through this cancellation.

I am sure you have questions regarding this cancellation, some of which I will answer below.

Do I need to cancel my hotel reservation?
No, there is no need to contact the hotel to cancel your reservation. All reservations made in the ISA room blocks at the Brown Palace Hotel and Holiday Inn Express have been cancelled without penalty on your behalf.

Will I be able to receive a refund for Assets 2020?
Yes. Staff is processing full refunds for your Assets and tour registrations. There is no need to send a written request. Most refunds will be to the method of payment you used to register, though some older credit card transactions made prior to November 24, 2019 will be refunded via check. You should receive funds back into your account in 7-14 days. Please allow additional time for the processing of check refunds.

Will the in-person courses scheduled before and after Assets still take place?
The 7 Hour USPAP Course and Requalification Course, originally scheduled to take place after Assets, are now available as live online courses. Keep an eye on your inbox and the ISA website for additional course offerings coming soon.

How will ISA's other course offerings and day-to-day activities be impacted by COVID-19?
ISA's staff have closed their physical offices but are fully equipped to work remotely. We will be evaluating other in-person ISA events and issuing updates as necessary.

I extend my deepest gratitude to our volunteers, especially the 2020 conference committee, Lisa Duke, ISA CAPP, Larissa Wild, ISA AM, Bruce Treadway, ISA CAPP, Ross Bradley, ISA AM, Cathy Wright, ISA, Wendy Gerdau, ISA CAPP, Fred Winer, ISA CAPP, Meredith Meuwly, ISA CAPP, and Irene Szylinger, ISA CAPP, for all their efforts to make this a wonderful conference. Please keep an eye on your inbox and on the ISA website for further updates.

Wishing you health and safety,
