Here is your opportunity to lead, inspire others, and work for the good of your profession and the benefit of the membership.
Call for Nominations for the ISA Board of Directors – Apply by June 16
We are accepting applications from members wishing to be considered for the two vacancies on the 2023 ISA Board of Directors. Our members look to the Board to do their utmost to encourage enhanced opportunities for the membership, such as quality educational programming and the promotion of the appraisal industry, so that each individual member can benefit professionally and personally from their connection to ISA. As a Board member, you will have direct input into these important priorities. It is a position of responsibility and a great opportunity.
What does serving on the Board entail?
To run for the Board, you must currently hold the designation of ISA AM or ISA CAPP and be current with your dues. While the effort is a serious one, the Board only meets four times per year with two of the sessions in teleconference. Two meetings are in person, with one meeting held at the annual conference and the other at a meeting in the Fall at the headquarters office in Schaumburg, IL. Board members often serve as Committee Chairs or Liaisons and take on projects throughout the year. We strive for passionate members! Board positions are for three-year terms.
How do I submit for nomination?
Submit letters of intent to run for the Board along with your resume. Kindly let us know how your accomplishments can best serve the Board and the Society. (Think about your special skills that may be helpful to the board – sales, accounting, legal, nonprofit, etc). Also note any committee or previous volunteer work with ISA. Please submit all letters of intent to Kirsten Smolensky, ISA CAPP, no later than Friday, June 16.
Please note: Interested candidates must currently hold the designation of ISA AM or ISA CAPP.
