2021 ISA Award Nominations

2021 ISA Award Nominations

In a Year of Great Change, Let’s Celebrate Great Victories!

It’s time to recognize our hardworking ISA volunteers! Although many of us have been social distancing and isolating ourselves this past year, there are ISA members who have been Zooming, phoning, teaching, editing, correcting, posting and using a calculator, ALL on our behalf. These volunteers, in all aspects of our organization, are what keep us moving forward.

This is the time of year that we stop for a moment and recognize these unsung heroes. Has someone in ISA posted an impressive research article? Has someone enthusiastically gone above and beyond expectations as a leader, whether a newbie or long-timer? Is there a member of AF+DA, Fine Arts, Gems & Jewelry or your local chapter who has given Distinguished Service to your group? Have you been especially impressed with an ISA educator who has given his or her time and knowledge beyond the classroom?

The Awards Committee has established a new award, the Appraisal Advancement Award, to acknowledge the efforts of an ISA member who has made great efforts to promote the personal property appraisal profession and ISA to the general public through social media. Many of our members are reaching out to the public through various forms of social media with creative postings, and ISA would like to acknowledge these efforts with this additional award.

Please follow the link below for the 2021 Award Nomination Form for descriptions of each award category and requirements for each nomination. Winners will be honored on Friday, May 14 during a virtual awards program.

(member login required)

Completed Award Nominations must be submitted using the online form by Friday, April 2. If you have any questions, please contact me via email at westmorelandappraisals@gmail.com.

Nominating a deserving fellow ISA member is a painless effort; please take a few moments to thank them for their hard work! We could all use a big (virtual) “pat on the back” this year!

My best,
Len de Rohan, ISA CAPP
Member, Awards Committee
