Announcing ISA's New Director of Marketing
Thursday, September 17, 2020 in News
On behalf of the ISA Board of Directors, I am delighted to announce that Bailey Sexton, ISA AM (member of ISA since 2013), has been appointed as the new ISA Director of Marketing, effective August 1, 2020.
Bailey has a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with concentrations in Advertising, Public Relations, and Print Journalism from Samford University. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and nonprofits to refine their marketing and media strategies.
Bailey has been a member of ISA for seven years as an AF+DA specialist. She has served as chair of the membership committee for the past three years where she has been instrumental in creating a lively Instagram account and updating our social media presence. She was the 2014 recipient of the Wendell Garrett scholarship awarded by Winterthur and the Foundation for Appraisal Education and later served on the board of the Foundation for Appraisal Education. In 2017 she was honored with the ISA Rising Leader Award, which recognizes new leaders who perform above and beyond expectations.
When asked about her vision for her new position, Bailey responded, "ISA's motto is advancing excellence and I am excited to promote the merits of our organization and our members to the world. By increasing our new and traditional media presence, establishing and maintaining gatekeeper relationships and raising public awareness about what a qualified appraiser looks like, I plan to make ISA and its appraisers the first place someone turns to for their appraisal needs. I look forward to working with the ISA Board of Directors, MCI staff and our dedicated volunteers to make this vision a reality."
The Director of Marketing position for ISA is a part-time, rotating position renewable for up to three years. This position was created this year by the Board of Directors to increase the promotion of ISA to potential members, the public, and to industries where personal property appraisals are frequently used.
You are welcome to reach out to Bailey anytime at email@example.com. Please let her know if you would like to be involved in future marketing and membership endeavors.
