ISA Training Makes an
Important Difference to You!

The International Society of Appraisers trains appraisers with the most comprehensive personal property appraisal educational program in North America. An ISA-educated appraiser is well equipped to give you an accurate and complete appraisal that will stand up in court if necessary.

The Core Course in Appraisal Studies is a "nuts and bolts" approach to personal property appraising for use in all of the specialty disciplines. Standardized checklists and sample appraisal reports are included. Special attention is paid to identification and authentication, market and value research, and analysis, ethics, and professional conduct, and preparing professional reports. This course is also offered as a text-based distance education course with ongoing registration.

A person enters ISA as an Associate Member. Upon completing and passing the core courses, and with documentation of three years of market related experience, the member earns the Accredited Member designation. This educational program forms the basis for further studies that lead to Certified Appraiser of Personal Property (CAPP).
