These include:  estates, divorce, bankruptcy, insurance, donations to non-profit institutions, establishment of trusts, litigation matters and federal tax function appraisals. Additional services provided include:  oral evaluations, private brokering, auction negotiations, Internet sales, collection consultation, video records, complete inventories, freight forwarding, packing and moving, photography and estate distributions and donation.  Free consultations available by calling the office.

Prior to her affiliation and certification with ISA, she owned a folk art company specializing in items from Mexico and South America.  She was also the Texas representative for Butterfield and Butterfield Auctioneers after a stint working in Italy and New York in the fine and decorative arts.  She was affiliated with the International Journal of Art in New York.  She is very conversant with the auction industry and can assist individuals in either selling or buying on an international scale.  She is a colleague of the online auction firm I-gavel, owned by Lark Mason, an appraiser of Asian material who regularly appears on the Antiques Roadshow.

She holds a Bachelor of Humanities with prior studies in marketing and business before entering this field.  She has studied art and furniture history in depth and continues to hone her skills with Continuing Education in these fields and an active association with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston and the Menil Collection, Houston.

She has been active in the Houston arts and antiques community for over 30 years and regularly participates in many appraisal days, lectures and writes articles for various organizations.  She resided in Santa Fe, NM and is still active appraising for estates, businesses and individuals for various needs.  Her primary residence is in Houston.

She became an appraiser in 1992 and has actively been appraising since then.  She is past president of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the ISA.  She remains active with the national organization of ISA and is a member of the Fine Art Committee.  She is committed to helping those who seek her out for appraisals by providing well-written appraisals written to the standards of ISA and USPAP

She lived and worked in Italy for four years studying the antiques and decorative arts and collecting and selling decorative arts.  Recently she lived in Santa Fe, NM and has a wide knowledge of the arts of the Southwest including:  paintings of Santa Fe and Taos, Native American pottery and beadwork, kachina dolls and Native American jewelry.

She is called upon to give talks about appraising and the arts to area groups in Houston and participates in "mini" appraisal days with other appraisers from time to time as fundraisers for local non-profit groups.  She is a former Docent at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
