Tony Pernicone, ASA, ISA AM
1 ISA Professional Development Credits
Pablo Picasso is the most highly collected printmaker in the history of fine art. Last year with his first Webinar; "Appraising Pablo Picasso," Tony Pernicone helped established the biographical background of the artist and the history of his limited edition works, including etching, lithography, linocuts, ceramics, posters, and pochoir, as well as the various catalogue references for these works, and the history, importance, and value they hold in the current marketplace. With this follow-up webinar Tony will cover the prices, rarity, and availability of Picasso's art in general, while focusing on the most sought after images. In addition he'll touch on the various papers used by Picasso, and the stamps and markings to help identify Picasso Ceramics. He'll also discuss some of the best ways to spot Picasso fakes. Finally, there will be approximately one half hour put aside for Q&A.
If you didn't attend the first webinar, there were several handouts that were sent to each participant, which you'll receive upon signing-up. These are very important and should be studied because the second webinar will be using them at various times in the talk. If possible, participants should read the article in the 2016 Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies.
Also, if there are any questions you'd like to submit beforehand, the presenter will do his best to address them during the discussion.
